It is our pleasure to welcome You to our Official Danish Taekwondo Federation website. Below you can find a information of our International Activities and Contactpersons.
The Danish Taekwondo Federation have been working at an international level for many Years. We have an international Strategy and have an International Committee to coordinate the activities. Our Federation is reprecented in the Board of the European Taekwondo Union by Thommas Holt, our former Federation President.
International Events in Denmark
Since the Foundation of the Danish Taekwondo Federation in 1975, we have hosted several International Events. Among the most prestigious have been:
1980 ETU - European Championships in Esbjerg - Denmark
1983 WTF - World Championships in Copenhagen - Denmark
1990 ETU - European Championships in Aarhus - Denmark
1999 ETU - European Championships Poomsae in Kolding - Denmark
2009 WTF - World Championships in Copenhagen - Denmark
On an annual basis we are hosting and promoting the following International Events:
Danish Open Poomsae - ETU A-class Championship - organized in April/May.
The next Danish Open Poomsae takes place May 19th 2012 in Kolding - Denmark
Wonderful Copenhagen Taekwondo Tournament Sparring Championship organized in August.
The next Wonderful Copenhagen TT August 18th 2012 in Copenhagen - Denmark.
Budo Nord Scandinavian Open Sparring and Poomsae Championship in October/November.
The next Budo Nord Scandinavian Open takes place November 6th 2011 and October 27th 2012.
And last but not least our big All Sports Event:
The Danish Taekwondo SUMMERCAMP organized in July.
The next SUMMERCAMP takes place July 14th-20th 2012 in Brande - Denmark
